This spring, Velvet Ink is opening its casting.
We are looking for women with tattoos—women whose skin carries story, presence, and identity. This is an open call for a special editorial feature to be published on the Maison Adoré platform—and we want you to apply.
Here’s how it works: From March 25 through April 5, applicants 18 and over are invited to submit photos, an optional short video, and a brief written statement about their tattoos and personal expression. There is no entry fee.
Selected participants will be featured in a Velvet Ink editorial. If chosen, submitted images and video may be used across Maison Adoré platforms, including web and social.
Below, some guidance for photo and video submissions:
• Images should be high quality and clearly in focus.
• Please make sure photos are taken in well-lit conditions.
• Choose simple or uncluttered backgrounds so the focus remains on you.
• Photos may be taken indoors or outdoors. Natural environments are encouraged.
• Avoid filters, graphics, or text overlays.
• Avoid selfies when possible; photos taken by another person or the self-timer are preferred.
• Submit recent images that reflect your current style and identity.
